Welcome to St. Matthew School
Mission
St. Matthew School strives to develop the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social needs of its students in a Christ-centered Catholic environment. Through Faith and service, and in partnership with our parish, parents, and community, St. Matthew School offers a challenging curriculum which will create life-long learners and responsible individuals who will grow in their love of God and as members of the greater Catholic community.

St. Matthew School has been providing a quality Catholic School education since 1942. Founded by the Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary of Scranton, PA, the school is now staffed by lay teachers and a lay principal. St. Matthew School has been recognized as a National School of Excellence and is fully accredited by The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

St. Matthew School serves students preschool through grade 8. Our students receive the best start to their education by attending a Montessori preschool program for three and four year olds, followed by a Montessori/Traditional blended Kindergarten program.

Class sizes in grades 1-8 range from 18 to 28 students with an average of 22 students in each classroom. Our school is staffed by 18 teachers, 10 specialists, two aides, four support staff and a principal.
